When the app launches, you'll see this screen. If you ever need support, quote the Rev number at the bottom of the screen — it helps us identify your app version.
Main Menu
This screen is your central navigation hub. Use this screen to access all key sections of the app. In the bottom right corner, you'll see the adaptive menu — on this page, it simply shows Close App, but it changes depending on which section you're viewing.
Navigating Hospital Services
Select a Hospital
This screen displays a list of hospitals you can choose from. Simply tap a hospital name to view its details, including amenities and departments. If amenities are available, a pop-up will appear with helpful information — you can dismiss it once read.
Select a Ward or Clinic
After choosing a hospital, you'll see a list of wards and clinics. If the hospital has amenities, a pop-up will appear with details like cafés or shops areas. Tap Dismiss to close the pop-up and return to browsing.
Ward or Clinic Details
Once you've selected a ward or clinic, a pop-up gives you three options:
- Call – call the ward or clinic directly to speak with staff.
- Dismiss – close the pop-up and return to the list.
- Navigate – open your maps app to get directions to the correct entrance.
Each listing includes the ward name, phone number, and entrance location (if available) to help you arrive smoothly.
Choose Your Navigation App
After selecting Navigate, a pop-up lets you choose which navigation app to use — including Google Maps. If you have installed the TomTom MyDrive app and have a separate TomTom device, you can send navigation information directly to it for seamless routing.
Preview Your Destination
Once your navigation app opens, you’ll see a preview of where you’ll be directed. If data for the selected ward or clinic is available, the app will guide you to the nearest entrance — ensuring you arrive at the correct location with minimal confusion.
Other Services
The sections for Care Homes, Dialysis, External Services, and Hospices work in the same way as hospitals and clinics. You can view contact details, select a location to call or navigate to the correct entrance.
Unlike hospitals, these sections do not include pop-ups
Feedback Form
This form plays a key role in keeping the app accurate and up to date. Users can report missing details, suggest corrections, or highlight changes — whether it’s a new clinic, updated contact info, or a revised entrance location.
